개요

국내 최대 COPD 환자군 레지스트리 (Korea COPD Subgroup Study; KOCOSS)는 COPD 악화 방지 및 중재 기술 개발을 위한 국가 연구체계를 마련하고, 국내 연구자들의 COPD 연구 활성화 및 고도화에 기여하고자 합니다.

추진 경과

전국 55개 병원 및 학회, 호흡기 임상 전문가로 구성된 다기관 네트워크를 구성하였으며 2016년부터 2024년까지 약 3,000여명의 COPD 환자들을 등록 및 추적관찰 연구기반으로 국내 COPD 환자 특성, 악화, 조기진단 및 예후 관찰연구를 진행하고 있습니다.
COPD 레지스트리에서는 수집된 임상·역학 자료를 이용하여 COPD 아형 및 고위험군 분석, COPD 발생 및 진행 예측의 생체 지표 발굴, 해외 COPD 코호트와의 협업을 진행하고 있습니다.
COPD 레지스트리에서는 수집된 인체자원으로부터 생산된 다중오믹스 데이터를 이용한 데이터베이스 구축과 CODA 기탁 및 개방을 통해 한국인 특징적인 COPD 아형별 조기진단, 진료지침 개발 및 인식개선을 진행하고 있습니다.

주요 성과

환자의 흡인 스테로이드 치료 효과 및 악화 예측 인자 규명, 동서양 COPD 환자 특징 차이 등의 논문을 발표하였습니다.
