개요

• 심혈관 고위험군 코호트 (Korean Urban Rural Elderly study, KURE)는 만성질환, 심혈관질환의 예방 및 관리의 중요성을 인지하여 노인에서 호발하는 질환의 역학적 특성과 예방 및 관리를 위한 지표 생성을 목적으로 수행중인 코호트 연구입니다.

추진 경과

• 65세 이상의 고령자를 대상으로 건강, 노화, 노인성 질환에 대한 지역사회 기반의 전향적 코호트 연구이며, 도시와 농촌 거주 노인의 특성을 반영하기 위하여 두 곳의 지역사회 (서울, 강화)를 코호트 모집 대상으로 2012년부터 2015년까지 65세 이상의 고령자를 대상으로 3,517명을 모집하였습니다.
• 4년 주기로 코호트 참여자들의 사회 인구학적 요인, 의료이용, 영양 상태, 생활 습관, 심리상태 및 인지 기능 조사를 위한 설문조사와 신체기능 평가를 포함한 검진 등을 수행하였습니다.

• 한국 도시농촌지역 어르신 연구의 수집 자료를 활용하여 최근 5년내 (2019-2023) 11편의 연구논문이 발표되었습니다. 주요 연구결과는 연구성과집을 참고하시기 바랍니다.
