Center Overview
The Infectious Disease Research Center is conducting studies on the development and commercialization of key technologies, such as for blocking the spread of antimicrobial resistance, eradicating tuberculosis, and responding to bacterial zoonoses caused by climate change, in order to create public value to overcome bacterial infectious diseases that threaten citizens’ safety. While strengthening infrastructure to activate domestic research, the center is establishing itself as a backbone of bacterial infectious disease research by expanding and supporting international research cooperation.
